Josh Geyer is a contemporary abstract artist and designer based out of Lake Oswego, Oregon. Born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, His work has been shown in Hong Kong, Singapore, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palm Springs, San Diego, Portland, and Seattle. His pieces hang in homes and businesses all over the world.

Spurred on at a young age by his love of comics, music, and cartoons, Josh became determined to make art his future. He learned the basics from his Grandma Bea, and at 15 he got serious and began taking life drawing, anatomy, fine art, and sculpture courses at ArtCenter, CalArts, UCLA, CSUN, Pierce College, Moorpark College, and the LA Zoo.  This classical training laid the foundation for everything he has created since. After high school, he attended Moorpark College and his life drawing teacher Glenn Vilppu talked him out of wanting to go to CalArts and told him that he would be perfect for ArtCenter College of Design. He applied and got in to the highly coveted, world famous, Illustration department.

Josh enjoys teaching his 9-year-old daughter Margot and her friends how to draw and paint. One of the best days of his life was when he realized that she shares his love of art, so the father/daughter duo have recently been collaborating on some pieces that are available for sale in the shop.
